Jurassic Park to me, is brilliant. Just brilliant.
I'm not really sure which areas to cover first, so to start with, I'll discuss the story. The story is very unique, and a very interesting concept. If we could, should we bring back the dinosaurs? Obviously the answer is no, nobody really fancies the idea of being chased by an escaped Velociraptor, though for extreme thrill-seekers, it would beat a rollercoaster ride. I think the acting by the main characters, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum etc are pretty good. Goldblum plays a character that he pretty much plays in all his films, just with a different name, but he plays it very well. Sam Neill also shines in this, it's surprising to me that after this he didn't go on to even bigger things, as his career obviously couldn't have been going well otherwise he wouldn't have appeared in JPIII. The less said about those kids, the better. The effects are superb, especially for a '93 film, and is definitely one of Spielberg's best. See it.
